Matt Harvey is the Principle of Lean Strategy, he graduated with distinction from Cardiff University’s MSc Lean Operations (Service). His research dissertation undertaken during the degree examined ‘Defining and delivering value in Financial
Services’ for which he also received a distinction. He is also a qualified assessor and workplace trainer.
Matt’s journey with Continuous Improvement began whilst working with Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) where Matt held positions in Australia, Canada and the UK. As Operations Manager of the P&WC Australian aftermarket facility, he modified and successfully implemented the company Lean program (Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE™)). He later progressed to providing the leadership and training for the implementation of P&WC’s Lean program to their remote sites in Australia, Asia, Africa and the U.K.
More recently as a Partner with a boutique consulting company, Matt was responsible for development, management and
delivery of Continuous Improvement programs within the Defence, Training and Professional services sectors.
Developed from his in depth experience in the management and delivery of Continuous Improvement programs Matt has created. Lean Strategy whose focus is on creating insight through analysis and delivering success through collaboration.
